Juried Woodwork Exhibition in the National Capital Region
(Ottawa, Ontario)

Wood Objects is a juried woodwork exhibition in Canada’s National Capital Region. The organizing committee comes under the auspices of the Ottawa Woodworkers Association, a not-for-profit organization. The event is to be held at the annual Ottawa Woodworking Show. Presently in its first year, it is hoped that Wood Objects will become an annual event that attracts the area’s finest woodworkers.This event has as its cornerstone, three objectives:

• Foster excellence in the design and crafting of wood objects.
• Create an opportunity for the public to experience finely crafted objects.
• Encourage aspiring artisans.

Wood Objects is a juried exhibition featuring works predominantly of wood. Materials other than wood may be used to complement the design. Importance should be given to original design, excellence in workmanship and diversity of approach. Work of your highest standard is encouraged.
