Welcome and Introduction

Bare garage workshopI don't profess to be an expert with 40 years of experience, and I certainly don't profess to be perfect, never making any mistakes.

What I do admit is to having fallen in love with woodworking, and all that it entails. Unfortunately, I also fall into that category of woodworker who has more desire than space in which to work. My workspace is small and cramped, consisting of an unheated garage that allows me to work from late March until perhaps December, weather permitting.

I have a variety of tools that all have to share a very small space, and often using one tool means moving other tools out of the way to work.

Definitely not an enviable workspace, but it is what I have available, and I intend to make the best of it.

The purpose of this blog is twofold. One is to allow me some fun in sharing my experiences in my workshop, and with wood in general. And second, I also aspire to educate and inspire others into getting out into the workshop and doing what they love.

Also note that since this site has moved hosting providers, my news/blog had its dates reset. The information is still sequential, but the posting date is off by a few years!
